Getting Started

What to Expect

Seeking psychiatric care for the first time can feel uncertain. Here is a simple overview of what the process looks like with Dr. Saladino.

01

Reach Out

Send a message through the contact form or call the office. A complimentary 15-minute phone consultation is available to answer initial questions and see if it's a good fit before scheduling your first appointment.

02

Initial Evaluation

Your first appointment is a 60-minute conversation. Dr. Saladino will take time to understand your history, your concerns, and what you're hoping to achieve.

03

Your Treatment Plan

Together, you and Dr. Saladino will discuss a personalized plan — which may include therapy, medication, or a combination — that fits your needs and goals.

04

Ongoing Care

Follow-up visits allow Dr. Saladino to monitor your progress, adjust your plan as needed, and provide consistent support over time.

You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. The first step is simply starting the conversation.

Self-Pay Practice

Dr. Saladino operates as a private, self-pay practice. This model allows for greater flexibility, privacy, and a care relationship focused entirely on you — free from the constraints of insurance.

Upon request, a superbill can be provided after each visit, which you may submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Many patients with PPO plans receive partial reimbursement this way. This will often cover 40–80% of incurred costs.
